More Affordable Housing Units Proposed for East Liberty Park
Salt Lake City’s commitment to affordable housing is taking another step forward! A new proposal has just landed, aiming to bring spacious 4-bedroom apartments to the vibrant East Liberty Park neighborhood. The project, filed this past Friday, seeks to tap into the city’s Affordable Housing Incentives (AHI) program. If approved, it would add three new units behind an existing single-family home at 1022 S. 900 East. This move not only addresses the city’s growing need for family-sized rentals but also reflects a creative approach to increasing housing options in established neighborhoods.
